It started with a $2,500 investment and a dream. I took a rugged, ex-Army 1960 Series 2 Land Rover and restored her to her former glory—then I pushed the limits. I converted her into a custom camper, loaded 150kg onto the roof, and pointed her toward the horizon.
At 66 years old, she's still traveling the world, though she isn't without her "personality." Whether it is in a quiet field, a busy intersection, or a remote mountain track, she occasionally decides it's time for an unscheduled break. It’s all part of the charm of vintage overlanding!
